I must give credit where it is due. This website exists thanks to two fabulous women, Ruth Maude of Dandelion Web Design and Dawn Comber of Digital Dialogues, who put on monthly workshops on building your own WordPress websites. Their LearnWP workshops are just the kick in the butt that most of us need to take our ideas and put them online in a straightforward, presentable form. Some of my friends have been trying to do their own websites for a year. This one was up in one month, start to finish.
After the two-day workshop was over, Ruth and Dawn provided excellent support and guidance for layout, content and technical matters (transferring the website domain to the new host). I’ve gained a valuable technical resource, and they have gained another ongoing client and a glowing reference.
